2024 - THE ESSENCE OF SKY

Underground architecture is a past, present and future reality, a possibility for the future use of the subsoil, whether due to issues of housing density, climate, topography, transportation, etc.; This leads us to another problem, due to the absence of the sky and what it transmits. This project aims to bring the visual experience of the sky to underground spaces or those places that lack visibility. It is carried out through a natural lighting experience transmitted with a daily recording system that takes the signal to the OLED screens, which have flexible qualities capable of adapting to various surfaces, simulating the sky through the reproduction of colors, light and shadow, allowing us to highlight the passage of time, generating a positive effect for users by transmitting the benefits of seeing the sky throughout their day.
