In the old Mirinaegol, there were resting benches for students, where they would eat lunch or hang out during the day. At night, students would head off campus in search of a bright spot. To maintain the role of this shelter throughout the day, we added the role of a bench. For the specificity of the location, we also considered elements that blend in with the environment.

Due to the stony nature of the valley, the basic form was inspired by pebbles. We finalized the foundation using lime concrete, an eco-friendly material that utilizes oyster shells, which are abundantly produced in Busan, where the university is located.
