The project, entitled “Luminous Erosion”, is an innovative proposal that arises from the erosion produced on the rocks of Caps de Creus. This project seeks to recreate the natural beauty of marine erosion on the rocks through a set of fabrics. This set of fabrics, carefully arranged, imitates the shapes and textures that the sea carves into the rocks, creating a unique and attractive landscape.
Marine erosion is a natural phenomenon that has fascinated mankind for centuries. It is the process by which seawater, with its constant ebb and flow, slowly wears away coastal rocks. This process, which can take thousands of years, gives rise to rock formations of incredible beauty and uniqueness. Each rock eroded by the sea is a natural work of art, a sculpture carved by the infinite patience of the ocean.
The “Luminous Erosion” project seeks to capture this beauty and bring it to an environment accessible to all. To do so, I have resorted to a material as common as fabric. But in her hands, the fabric transforms. It folds, twists, stretches, adopting the whimsical shapes that the sea imprints on the rocks. The result is a landscape of fabrics that evokes the eroded coasts, a landscape that invites contemplation and amazement.
But fabric alone is not enough to recreate the magic of marine erosion. Something else is needed, something that brings life and movement to the fabric landscape. That something is light.

A beam of light acts as a guide for visitors, illuminating the path and highlighting the most impressive features of the recreated “erosion”. This carefully directed light plays with the shadows and reliefs of the fabrics, creating a visual spectacle that changes with each step of the visitor.
This illuminated path not only allows visitors to observe the beauty of marine erosion, but also promotes peaceful coexistence between visitors and the wilder nature that many cannot access. Walking along this luminous path, visitors are transported to those distant shores where the sea and the rocks dance their eternal dance of creation and destruction.
In short, the “Luminous Erosion” project is more than just an art installation. It is a tribute to the beauty of nature, an invitation to reflect on the passage of time and the power of the sea. It is ultimately an experience that seeks to connect visitors with nature in a new and exciting way.
