A Local Activity Center is a project designed for the local community, encompassing a variety of attractions such as exhibitions of artworks created during classes, an exercise hall, a learning area, a lecture hall, and a cafeteria. Light plays a significant role throughout the project, as abundant glazing allows light to penetrate the interior, illuminating the space. The interplay of light also accentuates the protruding walls, creating a sense of gradual buildup, particularly in the exhibition area. Additionally, the facility would harness electrical energy from photovoltaic panels situated on the roof. Light is an integral element of the project; in the building I designed, I aimed to demonstrate the relationship between sunlight and the interior and how it influences the atmosphere and ambiance.
The architecture of the building is very harmonious and rhythmic, as well as coherent, which is also reflected in the interior, echoing the architecture of the building. Light and shadow create an additional visual value that influences the perception and architecture of the building. Additionally, architecture, light, and greenery should be integral elements, which is why the building has also been surrounded by greenery.
