Bipolar disorder is a common mental illness worldwide. According to the World Health Organization , the global incidence of bipolar disorder is about 1-2%, and in some regions or groups, the rate can be as high as 5%. This means that globally, millions of people are affected by the disease.
According to epidemiological surveys and studies in China, the incidence of bipolar disorder is between 0.5% and 1.5%, which is lower than the global average, but due to China’s huge population base, the number of people affected is still very considerable.
The age of the first onset of this mental illness is usually in late adolescence or early adulthood, affected by genetic factors, psychological factors, social factors, patients will present different symptoms.
We try to convey the inner feelings of people with bipolar disorder through the light and shadow in the building, so that people can know and understand the patient group, and let them feel that they are not alone.
