In our project, we have worked with a distinctive architectural structure that starts from the idea of a grid, made up of pyramids arranged in a dynamic and flexible model, which allows their deformation to create the wave effect. These pyramids could be made of light and strong materials, such as glass or plastic. The structure is operated by a control system that allows the adjustment and coordination of the movement of the pyramids to imitate the movement of a wave in real time. This system is based on sensors to detect and respond to changes in the environment, such as wind or water movement. It is a public space that offers a unique experience to each individual, because they intuitively orient themselves and perceive the space in a distinct way. The structure can integrate kinetic and solar energy, harvesting technologies to power the deformation control system, depending on the building’s location.
