2024 - Feel the daylight

The story behind the project title starts from the museum creators that active, only the eyeball with slogan that say do not touch. So, you go to the museum, and you look you look until you get exhausted and can’t wait to go to the café and the gift shop. Why can’t we have an exhibition where you can touch, hear, taste and smell but, by using sunlight so it begs a question of can you touch the sunlight? Can you smell the sunlight? Yes, you can come to my building. You can smell the sunlight which heats the incense which is at the entrance of the building. You can hear a different tune of Omani music depend on the sunlight. You can see the shadow that the sunlight made. You can touch it by using a wall that works the same way as the silhouette game, so it leaves your shadow as a footprint. Finally, you can taste it because of the solar heat collector that is used for cooking process. As an additional idea and to address the issue of heating up the rooms that are located on the southern side of the building, I came up with the idea of mushrabiya that it could allow how the amount of sunlight on it. There are two sizes of it depending on the room if it is public or private.
