At present, many cities have insufficient nighttime lighting, forming so-called ”dark corners” that can easily become breeding grounds for crime. Research has shown a negative correlation between lighting intensity and crime rate, with stronger lighting leading to lower crime rates. A bright environment can effectively prevent the occurrence of criminal behavior. Therefore, improving urban nighttime lighting is an effective means to reduce crime rates. Effectively enhancing night lighting by combining lighting devices with self rescue devices can enhance residents’ sense of security and reduce crime rates.
The Night Light Self rescue Warehouse Device Project combines night lighting devices with emergency self rescue warehouse devices, and includes a series of auxiliary devices such as one click alarm, emergency call, monitoring audio and video recording, self-defense tools, energy charging, etc. The aim is to help vulnerable groups who suffer from harm at night obtain a chance for self rescue, improve residents’ sense of security, reduce the probability of night crime, improve urban image, and contribute to shaping a civilized city.
