The project aims to break the social stigma towards entrepreneurs, ensure an affordable and flexible commercial space compatible with the shift in demand to catalyze startup culture through the integration of technology in architecture, and consider the long-term changes that involve the addition and subtraction of the building’s material and harness natural resources such as daylight to ensure a sustainable development for a commercial building. With the coordination of these aspects the idea tends to activate a commercial campus environment within a building which is represented with the name Accordivator.
The objectives of the study are:
1.To identify the development ideas leading towards the concept of user-responsive and climate-responsive design.
2.To analyze the needs of personalization, combinatorial customization of workspace.
3.To examine the possibilities of component-based design to boost up co-working, develop mutually beneficial relationship and integrate economic and socio-cultural factors.
4.To develop a prototype that can evident the core concept of the study.
5.To implement the prototype on a specific site context maintaining local building code and regulations.
6.Creating a type of commercial building that can be an example of utilizing daylight for its users.
Here in the design the users are studied, and the need of different spaces are analyzed and then customization of curated spaces has been developed through technology. Using the building database users can create their own spaces by combining modules under supervision. In this case the metabolic growth of the modules within a rig is structured by simulating the optimized assurance of daylight by creating an atrium like void and positioning the modules around it as well as use of reflecting pools for basement offices so that the users can have better health as well as the building use minimum nonrenewable energy for lighting at least in daytime.
For easy customization a user interface is conceptualized where they can input their data and see different combination of modules fit for their space requirement and according to building authority will command the warehouse to make modules. Then the integrated crane system will plug in to the mother structure and future expansion can also be done in the same procedure.
